The guys who made QOOLE - one of the first
really intentive to use editor (which also
works!) which is as operatable as the
software I am used to on my MAC at work...
(I just can't get it to work under NT after
a week now.. :-( always the "hardware not
			  detected" error - matrox millenium?)
Authors of ADQUEDIT for easy combining textures...
a friend of mine didn't get to write a working
tool in time to put the texes in a wad :-(
Lots of other people (i don't know all
the names right now...) for all the
			  add-ons for doom, quake etc.

======================= Other Info =========================
As me being and "old" DOOM-maniac and level-designing fanatic
I wanted to change the look of quake (too much green in there)
and tried to make textures of different appearance. I was pretty
impressed by Tomb-Raiders atmosphere in spite of using very "simple"
and not-aligned textures. So I started off. I tried to bring in
the touch of the more comic-like colour-selection as seen in DOOM
which produces the unique look of this standard-setting game.
Another inspiration was DUKE with its technic, sometimes very
detailed and smooth appearance. Also I tried NOT NOT NOT to make
textures that appear in the ugly pixeled manner as I have seen
in many levels out there... (by the way - I'm 31 and doing grafix,
and preprinting at job, so I think I have some kind of "eye for
quality" concerning grafix ;-) hum..)

I made some kind of "quality-check" ford each of the included textures
in a small level - I think you can use them all and this wad is a
good base to build levels in a distinctive look. If there are series
of textures (e.g. "beton") which seem not to cover a whole range of
the theme - please forgive me, cause I made textures as they came
to my mind..

Up to now I really had not enough spare time to build a "real" level...
So, all you level-designers, go ahead and show me what you are up to!
(... and build levels with a structure that meet the fine engine of
QUAKE and are not some kind of single-level or flat conversions of
DOOM-Maps)

ps.: If you use textures of this wad it would be nice to let me
know.. if you can spare the mail...
