This will help set up a basic TFC server

Instructions:
1.) Put these files into your Half-Life/tfc directory - you may want to take what is in this autoexec.cfg and copy/paste into your already existing autoexec.cfg

2.) Be sure to edit the hostname line (to change the name of your server), the maxplayers line (to get the right number of max players allowed into the server), and the rcon password (so you can jump into the game and make changes yourself

3.) Also, if you run the server out of the same directory from which you play the game, you will want to tak the 'map <mapname>' line out of the autoexec.cfg, and add '+map <mapname>' to the targetline of your hlds.exe shortcut - Otherwise, when you try to play a game and it runs the autoexec.cfg, it will run the map line and start up that map, resulting in you not playing on the wanted server

The targetline of your hlds.exe shortcut should read something as follows:
C:\sierra\half-life\hlds.exe -game tfc
or, if you do not want to use the autoexec.cfg, then:
C:\sierra\half-life\hlds.exe -game tfc +max players 8 +map 2fort
